Leadership transition at Bosch Digital Twin Industries

Headshot of Albert Pescheck Bosch Digital Twin Industries, BDTI

Digital twins are reshaping the future of oil, gas, energy, manufacturing and other complex industries. By merging real-world operations with AI-driven simulations, Bosch Digital Twin Industries (BDTI) enables manufacturers and asset-intensive sectors worldwide to achieve new levels of efficiency, reliability, and performance. From predictive maintenance to process optimization, BDTI has already demonstrated the tangible value of turning data into actionable outcomes.

Now, as the company enters its next phase of growth, a leadership transition marks the start of a new chapter. Effective September 1, 2025, Albert Pescheck has taken on the role of CEO at Bosch Digital Twin Industries (interim). He succeeds Hemanth Sheelvant, who successfully built and scaled the company from its foundation and is now pursuing new professional opportunities. Together with the leadership team, Albert will guide the next strategic phase, supported by substantial investments in product development, standardization, and innovation.

Strategic Shift to a SaaS business model

A key focus under the new leadership will be on transforming BDTI into a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business, nurturing faster and more efficient applications and deployments for customers. Albert Pescheck brings extensive expertise in strategic investments, fundraising, and scaling complex businesses – skills essential for this stage of BDTI’s journey.

Within his first months, Albert will prioritize integrating the customer perspective into BDTI’s strategy. “Understanding our customers’ priorities is critical to accelerating both growth and product capabilities to deliver the market-leading solution for digital twin technology,” he explains. “I will spend time with our teams and clients worldwide – starting in key markets such as the Middle East and Europe – to ensure we are solving real industry challenges. With the current client portfolio of highly relevant industry players and trusted partners such as Abu Dhabi National Oil Company ADNOC Offshore and EMSTEEL, UAE’s largest steel and building materials manufacturer, we have already proven that our technology can significantly reduce operating costs.”
